ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures the resistance of a corrugated board to crushing along its edge. A 32 ECT rating means the board withstands 32 pounds of force per linear inch. Yes. These boxes are made from Kraft linerboard that typically includes 30–40% post-consumer recycled fiber. After use, simply remove any tape or labels and recycle the box through your local corrugated collection stream.
Can these large 24-inch cube boxes be stacked on a pallet?
Yes, but with caution. Due to their size and weight potential, we recommend stacking only 2 layers high on a pallet to prevent crushing. Use slip-sheets or chipboard between layers, and always wrap the load tightly to maintain pallet integrity during transit.
Are these boxes suitable for direct food contact?
No. While they are made from non-toxic materials, these boxes are not certified for direct food contact. If you're shipping food items, use a food-grade poly bag or liner inside the box.
