No. The manufacturer does not recommend using this cap for carbonated beverages, hot-fill processing, nitrogen gas-injected packaging, or any product that will be frozen.

Does the tamper band stay on the bottle after opening?

Yes. The patented "J" tamper band separates from the closure skirt during the first removal and remains locked around the bottle neck, providing clear evidence of opening without creating loose plastic pieces.
