Is the 32 ECT-C rating acceptable for FedEx, UPS, and USPS ground services?

Absolutely. A 32 ECT single-wall box meets or exceeds the edge-crush strength standards required by all major parcel carriers. To ensure safe transit, stay within the box’s weight capacity, fill any empty space with cushioning materials, and seal all flaps with strong carton-sealing tape.

What does the 32 ECT-C classification mean?

ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures how much edge compression a corrugated board can withstand before collapsing. A 32 ECT rating means the board resists 32 lbs of pressure per linear inch. The “C” flute refers to a common single-wall profile that balances stacking strength and cushioning.

How many boxes come in a case, and how are they shipped?

Each case includes 10 flat-packed boxes. Due to the large size, they are bundled in lower quantities per case to reduce bulk and simplify shipping and storage. Assembly is easy—just square the box, fold the flaps, and tape securely.

Are these boxes made from recycled material, and can they be recycled?

Yes. These boxes are made from Kraft linerboard that typically contains 30–40% post-consumer recycled content. Once used, just remove any tape or labels and recycle through your regular corrugated waste stream.

Can these 24x12x12 boxes be stacked on a pallet?

Yes. When packed within the 40–45 lb limit and arranged consistently, these boxes can be stacked 2–3 layers high on a standard 48" × 40" pallet. Use slip-sheets or chipboard between layers to help stabilize the stack, especially for taller loads.

Are these boxes approved for direct food contact?

No. While they are made from non-toxic materials, these boxes are not FDA-certified for direct food contact. If needed for food handling or packaging, use a poly liner or food-safe bag inside the carton.

Do these boxes require any tools or adhesives to assemble?
