Yes. These medium-to-large rectangular boxes carry a 32 ECT-C edge-crush test rating and are designed to support up to 40–45 lbs when properly packed. Their generous size is ideal for bulk packaged goods, home and office supplies, electronics accessories, or multi-item orders that require space and protection.

Is the 32 ECT-C rating acceptable for FedEx, UPS, and USPS ground services?

Absolutely. A 32 ECT single-wall box meets the standard edge-crush strength requirements of major carriers for ground shipments. For best performance, use void fill to prevent shifting, seal all flaps with strong packing tape, and keep total weight under 45 lbs.

What does the 32 ECT-C classification mean?

ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures how much pressure a corrugated board can withstand when compressed edge-to-edge. A 32 ECT rating means the board can handle 32 lbs of force per linear inch. The “C” flute is the most common profile and offers a good balance of stacking strength and cushioning for general-purpose shipping.

How many boxes come in a case, and how are they shipped?

Each case contains 25 flat-packed boxes. They are bundled tightly for efficient shipping and warehouse storage. Assembly is fast—simply square up the box, fold in the flaps, and seal with standard carton-sealing tape.

Are these boxes made with recycled materials, and can they be recycled after use?

Yes. These boxes are made from Kraft linerboard with approximately 30–40% post-consumer recycled content. After use, remove tape or labels and recycle them through your local corrugated recycling stream.

Can these 18x14x12 boxes be stacked on a pallet?

Yes. When packed evenly and within the 40–45 lb weight limit, these boxes can typically be stacked 3–4 layers high on a standard 48" × 40" pallet. To ensure pallet stability, use slip-sheets or chipboard between layers and wrap the load securely.

Are these boxes suitable for direct food contact?

No. While the Kraft linerboard is non-toxic, it is not FDA-certified for direct contact with food. For food-related use, insert a food-grade poly bag or liner inside the box.

Do these boxes require tools or glue to assemble?

Not at all. These boxes are pre-scored for easy folding and only require standard 2"–3" wide carton-sealing tape to close the flaps—no staples, glue, or special equipment needed.
